You Are:

A Pricing/CDTS Manager leads pricing activities at either a specific portfolio (aligned) or across AFS (centralized). A Pricing/CDTS Manager provides direction and guidance with respect to financial deal structuring, governmental and internal policies, and compliance issues. A Pricing/CDTS Manager is responsible for preparing the internal deal economics and cost/price volumes, as well as working closely with Pricing/CDTS Specialists and Analysts on pricing activities. Pricing/CDTS Managers may also conduct management reviews of completed cost/price proposals, checking for accuracy and consistency with disclosed cost accounting standards, estimating practices, solicitation requirements, as well as AFS Policies prior to submittal to the client, as required. A Pricing/CDTS Manager is also involved in the establishment and/or modification of standards and processes within the Pricing/CDTS organization.

The Work:

  • Provide oversight and support for financial deal shaping, deal structuring and closing of federal government pricing actions; including working proactively with clients and Accenture management to ensure compelling business cases for both the client and for Accenture

  • Prepare consistent financial deliverables that are accurate and compliant with Accenture policies, GAAP, and federal government standards

  • Liaise with proposal team and portfolio leadership on financial aspects for management approvals, work to identify the underlying costs associated with an offering, and drive the financial modeling efforts to determine the costing, pricing, client capital financing and overall profitability for Accenture

  • Develop and provide oversight of cost/price volumes in response to federal solicitations, contract modifications, requests for equitable adjustments, and terminations for convenience

  • Ensure that Point of Sale (POS) financial information is transitioned to Client Financial Management (CFM) at project set-up as well as maintain the POS documentation for all proposals

  • Actively assist and provide back up support for a Pricing/CDTS Senior Manager on managing the staffing for all opportunities and help coordinate overall pricing activities within the portfolio(s)

  • Collaborate with Pricing/CDTS leadership, Controllership, and CFM leadership to confirm complex accounting treatments from Bid through Point of Sale (POS)

  • Identify and lead opportunities to continuously improve training, methodologies, tools, and skills

  • Train and mentor junior members of the Pricing/CDTS organization and contribute to knowledge sharing across the broader finance community

Here's What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other comparable business major

  • 5+ years of federal government pricing experience or 7+ years of general finance related experience

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite [Excel, Word, PowerPoint]

  • Detail oriented with strong financial analytical skills

  • Experience with federal government contracting, procurement regulations, and government solicitation documents (RFP, RFQ, SOW, etc.)

  • Communicate effectively with multiple departments and senior leadership

  • Demonstrated supervisory and collaboration skills

  • Ability to organize, delegate and leverage resources to accomplish objectives

  • Must be a US Citizen

Bonus Points if you have:

  • Master’s degree or finance/accounting certification

  • Experience with the General Services Administration (GSA) schedules program

  • Ability to embrace new business strategies and manage change

  • Experience in cost/price proposal development

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:

$95,800—$204,500 USD
