Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture –the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.

The Technology Security Manager will act as an individual contributor, and also will manage a team. As an individual contributor, the incumbent will be responding to client sales opportunities, preparing responses and leading discussions with client security personnel to ensure them our capabilities will meet their requirements. As a team lead, the manager will build and lead a global team of experts to implement policies and standards on new deals, managing vendor assessments, and similar.

The individual will work closely with Accenture InfoSec and Operations management, and the Client security teams to address all security issues. Key skills required are security expertise, client presentation skills, project management and leadership. This position requires travel of approximately 15% through the year, with a degree of unpredictability, for client related activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Single point of contact for all security issues – needs to be able to provide leadership across multiple accounts (pre-sales and post-sales).

  • Security Controls & Risk Management – Ability to work with teams across the organization / 3rd parties to deliver results.

  • Client Data Protection – work closely and work with operations teams to implement and maintain appropriate security controls.

  • Incident Management – managing potential data breaches and presenting incident reports to senior leadership on both client and Accenture teams.

  • Project Management on various security projects such as conducting Opensource scans on all applications, or converting applications to SSO/ESO/MFA, or executing third party SSAs and penetration tests.

  • Build and support a team executing RFP security responses.

  • Thought leadership – Review security policies and standards and suggest improvements.

Proficiencies:

  • Ability to identify and assess complex problems for area of responsibility and create solutions in situations that require in-depth analysis and knowledge of organizational objectives

  • Ability to keep up to date with the latest security trends

  • Understand company policies and standards and be able to translate to business users.

  • Leadership skills to allow the individual to interact well with client leadership, as well as internal leadership.

  • Ability to interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Excellent organization/time management and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to adapt to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers

  • Project Management Skills

  • Expertise in Accenture Client Data Protection (CDP)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology / security related position

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a client facing position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Client facing consulting experience

  • Experience with industry-leading Security Tools

  • Solid multi-phase, multi-release program and project management skills

  • Security certifications

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $73,764 - $170,100 and information on benefits offered is here.
