Accenture Functional Data Manager in Florham Park, New Jersey

This position is for a Senior Data Engineer who is expected to be a thought leader in the Data Engineering space—looking for a technologist and at the same time someone passionate about mentoring junior team members. Someone experienced in roles like data engineer, data architect, data developer, cloud solution architect. Someone experienced in building data systems with Cloud tools and services to support various client use cases. As a member of ATC-Tampa Data & AI capability, you will be primarily responsible for working closely with our junior data engineers to architect solutions from ideation through execution, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies in delivering custom and scalable solutions.

The Work (Role Responsibility)
Organize and lead project activities for data migration from detailed design to post-go-live support
Work under senior project leadership and ensure all work is aligned with the project's strategic direction.
Provide deep technical hands-on expertise in the implementation, operationalization, and testing of data processing systems on Cloud Platforms (Google preferably, AWS, Azure)
Develop data processing jobs using traditional and distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark, and Dataflow
Collaborate with junior engineers to help adopt best practices in designing and developing data systems from data ingestion, ETL/ELT, storage, analytics, and visualization
Gather business requirements and translate them into operable data solutions
Support shared services team, client relations and collaborate with Accenture cross-domain teams
For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

A minimum of 3 years of experience with Data Management, Data Governance and Data Strategy
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field like Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field required. Advanced degree is a strong plus
Experienced with any Cloud computing platform
Experience integrating data across multiple ERP systems
Expert knowledge in Python, SQL, and Unix/Linux shell scripting
Experienced with relational and non-relational databases
Professional Skill Requirements:
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $83,200-$134,999 and information on benefits offered is here.
