Accenture Federal - Software Engineering Intern in Florham Park, New Jersey

Accenture Federal Services has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineering Intern to join our team in Tampa, FL. This is a rare opportunity to start a career in the US Intelligence Community and get paid to learn alongside experts in the field.

Our interns are expected to contribute new and novel ideas and are active members of our team. Ideal candidates will:

  • Design, implement, and integrate software applications

  • Work with a software engineering team designing and deploying software

Here's what you need:

  • Programming coursework and/or experience

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a security clearance

Bonus points if you have:

  • Curiosity

  • Software Engineer coursework/degree/experience

  • A keen interest in using novel techniques and state of the art technologies to help solve the most pressing issues in National Security

  • Positive attitude, motivation to self-start and work independently

  • Familiarity working with commercial or government cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, OpenStack)

  • Familiarity with modern software development practices and tolls (Jira, Git version control, CI/CD

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.     Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role   California: $65,900 - $104,100  Colorado: $65,900 - $90,000  New York City: $76,300 - $104,100  Washington: $70,200 - $95,900
