Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture –the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.

Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for providing business analytics for US Life science commercial brand, marketing, and sales teams.

  • Work with stakeholders to understand their business problems, translate those problems into data problem, and then provide insight back to the business based on those results.

  • Harnesses the power of the most comprehensive longitudinal dataset in the US by linking clinical, claims, prescription, lab, and social determinants of health data across over 300 million lives

  • Summarize analytical results, drawing out key learning’s, making recommendations and presenting to key stakeholders.

  • Explore and integrate third-party and open-source public health data into an existing environment

  • Work with Data engineers to define data requirements for modelling projects

  • Generate insights through a combination of quantitative and qualitative technique

  • Work on SQL/R/Python platform to pull and create reports using multiple sources. Should be able to write complex queries

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in life sciences customer-facing roles in consulting, healthcare technology, healthcare analytics

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands on working with data and predictive modelling, machine learning and data science with either Python or R

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Life Science/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/Health Science; Life Science highly preferred

  • Familiarity with Medical/Rx Claims, Clinical Data, Eligibility, Provider Data, and related processes /tools

  • Understanding of claims adjudication process in a health care environment

  • Experience in developing, testing, and deploying software changes for production users preferred

  • 2 years of hands on working with data and predictive modelling, machine learning and data science

  • Proficiency in SAS/R/Python, SQL, Tableau, MS Office Suite and Web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)

  • Knowledge of SAS software (i.e., Base, Stat, Graph components) and general computing techniques preferred

  • Proven background in at least one of the following: - Stochastic models, Bayesian Modelling, Classification Models, Cluster Analysis, Neural Network, Non-parametric Methods, Multivariate Statistics

  • Familiarity with relational databases and intermediate knowledge of SAS/SQL

    As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $ 72,400 to106,999 and information on benefits offered is here.
