You are a Scientific Informatics whiz with tons of experience selling consulting services, and leadership and management skills to spare. Your expertise? Advising clients on data-driven strategies to achieve their strategic, financial, and operational goals in the Chemical/Energy space. You have the energy and drive in abundance, along with personal resilience, a passion for serving clients, and a love for continued learning. You have a flair for breaking down processes into logical parts and constructing crystal-clear reasoning and analyses – an aptitude you use to decimate problems. Communication and people skills? You have both in spades, and as a manager you are a natural at appreciating diverse perspectives and bringing out the best in teams.
We are looking for a Portfolio Senior Manager to play a strategic role in managing an establish portfolio of accounts in the Chemical, Petro-Chemical, Energy, and Mining Industries. This leader will be responsible for selling and delivering cutting-edge technology and business process solutions to these industries.
You will be accountable for generating pipeline, sales, and business development efficiency results that meet or exceed assigned targets. You will identify and engage on strategic opportunities, develop new clients, and drive new capabilities into their target accounts. Continuous learning and demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of ASIS offerings and services, financial drivers and constraints are expected. Development and preservation of both industry and customer relationships that benefit the overall Applied Life Science practice is essential.

Co-create with the client, articulate transformation and drive innovation agenda for the client
Align the right teams or capabilities to enable (sell and deliver) successful transformation/innovation agenda
Build long-standing, trust-based relationships
Establish self as a trusted advisor with the client C-suite through an in-depth understanding of the client as well as industry
Build networks at Accenture to be able to bring the best of Accenture to the client
Grow the business/account
Drive sales, revenue and profitability, and responsible for account financials/key commercial processes (MMS/MMP, MME, MMB) for the account
Help originate deals based on defined commercial pathways; drive innovative deal construct and solutioning to grow business

Here’s What You Need:
5 years in a business development role selling consulting services
5 years’ experience leading a team of clients, consultants and vendors
5 years Project Delivery experience
5 years developing RFP and proposals for services
You have a great understanding of the Chemical, Petro-Chemical, Energy, or Mining industries
You have a 4-year degree or above with a degree in science or a degree in business or MIS.
You have experience implementing an ELN, LIMS, CTMS, LES, SDMS or CDS
You have established contacts in the industries listed above.
You have enterprise project management experience
You understand our domain – Scientific Informatics
You have demonstrated ability to create and articulate value propositions
You’ve worked on strategic industry differentiated projects
You have consulting experience
