Accenture Business & Integration Architecture Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Business & Integration Architecture Manager (Accenture LLP; Chicago, IL): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Business & Integration Architecture Manager in Chicago, IL, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Define, analyze, solve, and document the business requirements and processes for Accenture or our clients’ program/project specifications and objectives.

  • Gather and analyze information to define and review project specifications and requirements.

  • Ensure appropriate requirements for the deliverable are communicated and understood. Serving as a point of contact for when multiple workstreams and team are involved in the same project to ensure team coordination and task completion on time.

  • Write functional specifications using cases and requirements that describe the necessary system changes or new system features.

  • Develop strategy and functionality, and demonstrate the functional solutions to business, IT client, and the development team. Make effective decisions by finding the appropriate measurement, by rationalizing the problem statement.

  • Building suitable staffing plan to ensure project is staffed with right resources with appropriate skill sets to minimize delivery risk and ensure engagements are completed in time and revenue/profit goals are met. Form project teams and define responsibilities.

  • Solutioning and preparing of recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management. Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.

  • Track project/program status and understand impacts to their resources and areas of responsibility. Address customer's concern in timely manner.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Architecting, configuring, coding, testing, and deploying Blue Yonder SCPO applications for global customers, including IT Service Management;

  • Upgrading and migrating on-premise applications, databases, and servers to Blue Yonder Azure or private cloud platform using Blue Yonder SCPO product solutions;

  • Gathering requirements and working with offshore team members and onsite process architects for coordination and day-to-day delivery of projects;

  • Providing IT support for global companies, including troubleshooting IT issues, and defining and implementing ITIL processes for IT support;

  • Strategizing with client teams on future-ready application projects to build and optimize user experience on Portal and Mobile applications using Blue Yonder SCPO Solution;

  • Designing, developing, documenting, and supporting Blue Yonder SCPO applications and reports; and

  • Overseeing onshore stakeholders, providing status updates, communicating risks and issues, and obtaining stakeholder guidance.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
